Online Timer — Pick Any Duration

Every timer is preset and ready — one click to start, no signup.

Timers by duration

Timers by task

A countdown works best when the number is chosen deliberately. Short timers — one to five minutes — are for drills, kitchen steps, and breaking the inertia on a task you have been avoiding. The ten-to-twenty-five minute range is where most focused work happens: long enough to get somewhere, short enough that starting never feels like a commitment.

Past thirty minutes a timer stops being a nudge and becomes a container. Forty-five and ninety minute blocks suit deep work, exam practice, and anything that needs a long uninterrupted run-up. Each page below is preset to its duration with a full-screen flip clock that stays readable from across a room, so it doubles as a shared timer on a projector or second monitor.

Tip: Not sure which to pick? Start at 25 minutes. It is the standard Pomodoro block and long enough to make real progress without deciding in advance how far you will get.

Frequently asked questions

How do I set the timer?

Pick a duration below and the timer opens already set to it — press Start (or the spacebar) and it runs. There is nothing to configure.

Do I need an account?

No. Every timer runs straight away with no signup. A free account is only useful later, if you want to track focus streaks.

Does the timer keep running in a background tab?

Yes. The countdown is time-based rather than tick-based, so switching tabs or locking the screen does not drift it.

Is there a sound when time is up?

Yes, a soft chime plays at 0:00 and the flip clock lands on zero, so you get an audio and a visual cue.
