Exam Timer — Fullscreen Flip Clock
Preset and ready — press start, no signup needed.
An exam timer lets you practise under real conditions: set the paper's length, start, and work against a visible countdown just like the real thing. This one is preset to 3 hours and shows hours, minutes, and seconds.
Run it fullscreen so the countdown is clearly visible across a desk or room, exactly like an exam-hall clock.
Tip: Do timed mock papers, not just untimed practice. Working against a visible countdown builds the pacing instinct that stops you running out of time in the real exam.
Sitting a mock paper under real conditions
- Work out your per-question budget before you start and write it at the top of the page. Pacing is a plan you follow, not an instinct you hope shows up on the day.
- Do not pause, and do not look anything up. A mock you paused is a study session — useful, but it tells you nothing about whether you can finish in time.
- Mark it against the clock too: note which questions you were still on at the halfway point. Where the time went matters more than the score.
Three hours is a common full-paper length, but the exact number matters less than practising against a countdown you can see. Running out of time is the most fixable way to lose marks, and it is only fixable by rehearsing it.
